It’s  especially a good idea to put together a quiet space or office where you won’t be distracted by children, pets, or other household distractions. That way, you can focus on putting your wonderful ideas onto the page in their best form.

For some people, it’s another good idea to start by writing a story summary. This is where you can put together the main events in each chapter and provide a step-by-step logical sequence of the way you want your book to go. You’ll only need three sentences for each of the chapters and you can adjust them as you mix and match different ideas.
